This train is modeled after SP1900 trains (also SP1950, KRS991) that run on the Ma On Shan Line, East Rail Line, and West Rail Line in Hong Kong. 4-car, 7-car, 8-car, and 12-car versions are available.
When placed in a dispenser, the SP1900 train can be spawned as long as there is a
booster rail close to the front of the dispenser.
Recipe
The SP1900 train has a shaped recipe and can be crafted with one minecart on the top middle slot.

Operation and Physics
Station Rail Behavior
When the train passes over a station rail, the following things will happen:
- If the station rail is not powered, the train will stop.
- If the station rail is not powered and a train timer block is present to the left of the station rail, the train will stop and its doors will open.
- If the station rail is powered and its doors are open, the train will close its doors and start moving in the direction that it is facing.
- If the station rail is powered and the train is in motion, the train will be unaffected.
- If there is a route changer block underneath the station rail, the train's route display will be changed regardless of whether the rail is powered or not.
It is recommended for a station rail at a train station to be paired with a train timer to sync the platform screen door / automatic platform gate operation.
Boarding and Alighting the Train
The train can only be boarded when the doors are open. To get on, simply walk into the train. No right click is needed.
Alighting can happen any time regardless of whether the doors are opened or not. To get off, simply press the dismount key (left shift by default).
Destroying the Train
The way to destroy the light rail train is different from destroying minecarts. Hold the train remover item and right click on the train. See the page for more details.

Your mod is so realistic! Have you thought of making MTR models for the 'real train mod'? I've been looking for suitable trains but I can't find one which suits the platform height. :-(

Minecraft modding uses the Java language, and many tutorials can be found online. Honestly, about 90% of them time I googled for answers and looked at the decompiled Minecraft source code:)

2. Go to http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and select the "Mdk" download. Eclipse is a IDE (development environment) where you will write your code. http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/eclipse-packages/

Deletehi again. I use a mac so these tutorials don't exactly work as they're for Windows. So can you quickly make a mod that includes other country's trains and possible features? MTR is great but I feel Seoul Metro could add like real time information, where the train is at. You could even add escalators and elevators if you can. Thanks if you took this feedback in.

Also I can only make the escalators go down. I can't seem to make the escalator go upward from bottom to up. How do you do this?
ReplyDeleteHi, try replacing the sand (under the escalator landing) with sandstone. This will make the escalators go up instead.
DeleteI just want to let you know that I believe there is a glitch in the full-height screen doors. Whenever I place them the right way. the sign post white space at the top goes sideways. Can you fix this?
ReplyDeleteHi, this is a glitch that I have yet to fix. If you change the color of the white space by right clicking on it with a brush, it should change it back to normal. You can also try restarting the world and it should be fixed. Hope this helps!
